Fool For You, stylized as fOoL fOr YoU, is a song of the English singer-songwriter Zayn Malik's debut solo album, Mind of Mine. It is the tenth track of the album.
"Fool for You" depicts Malik as someone "destined to return to the same woman forever, regardless of how tainted their love becomes."[1]
Background[]
It is a retro piano ballad, with some electronic elements.[2] "Fool for You" is a Beatles-influenced pop ballad, which Malik says was influenced by John Lennon in particular.[3] "I was listening to a lot of John Lennon the week I got that loop," Zayn admitted. "And there was this one song I got addicted to, with Indian music at the front of it, sitar, and then it becomes, like, another song," he added, referring to Beatles classic ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds’.
