"Just Like You" is a promotional single by Louis Tomlinson. It was released on October 11, 2017, and serves as promotion for his upcoming debut solo album. It is not an official single. It is Tomlinson's third release, but is the first to feature no other artists.
Lyrically, the song addresses the trappings of fame, and seeks to humanise the narrator in the eyes of his fans.

On his official Twitter account, Tomlinson referred to "Just Like You" as a very important song to write and release: "I wrote [this single] a few months ago. After a few conversations with the label, I told them that I wanted to release it. My next single will be a bit later this year, but I wanted to share this with you now." He also told BBC: "[I'm really attached to Just Like You] which is all about this view of celebrities, that we’re impenetrable and almost not human, but fundamentally; we all have the same problems. Heartbreak feels the same, loss feels the same, all these feelings are the same for all of us. Mine just look a load different to, maybe, Tom who works in the chippy from nine to five."
