Family[]

Lottie has four younger sisters: Félicité, who was born in 2000 and tragically passed away in 2019; twins Phoebe and Daisy, born in 2004; and her half-sister Doris, born in 2014. In addition to her sisters, she also has two half-brothers: Louis, who was born in 1991, and Ernest, who was born in 2014 as Doris’ twin.

Lottie is engaged to former tennis player Lewis Burton, with whom she has been in a relationship for three years. On 15 January 2025, Lottie and Lewis welcomed their second child, a daughter named Flossie Grace Burton. They announced Flossie’s arrival via Lottie’s Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo of their son, Lucky, watching over his sister in her cot.

Career[]

In 2015, Lottie served as the stylist and makeup artist for One Direction during their On The Road Again Tour and promotional events. The following year, she partnered with Nails Inc. as an ambassador to promote their innovative spray-on nail polish, Paint Can.

In September 2016, she spoke to Paper Magazine about her career, stating, “I always wanted to pursue make up professionally, but I was so young and didn’t know if I had what it takes. I think as I got a little bit older and more experienced, I realized I could really make it my career. It was amazing working alongside my brother because we shared so many amazing experiences and places with each other. It’s definitely a dream to have my own line; it would be amazing!”[1]

On October 25, 2016, Lottie launched a collaborative nail polish collection with Nails Inc. The launch party was attended by Louis, Danielle Campbell, Sophia Smith, and Lou Teasdale.[1]

Lottie briefly appears in Louis’ music video for Back To You with her ex-boyfriend, Tommy Napolitano.

In October 2017, Lottie released her debut book, “Rainbow Roots: #MAKEUPBYME,” featuring over forty makeup tutorials. She later authored “Lucky Girl: Family, Falling and Finding My Way.”

In July 2018, Lottie co-founded Tanologist with Lou Teasdale, a brand focused on skin-friendly self-tanning products. Driven by her desire for a gentle fake tan that wouldn’t cause breakouts, she introduced a line of seven products, including mousse, self-tan water, instant and gradual lotions, oil, primer, and facial/body drops. In July 2019, Tanologist expanded into the US market and is now available at major retailers such as Target and Ulta.

Lottie boasts a significant social media presence on platforms like Twitter and Instagram, where she actively promotes mental health awareness and collaborates with related organizations.

As a brand ambassador, Lottie has represented Nails Inc., Lipsy London, and Sue Ryder’s bereavement support services. Additionally, she has partnered with fashion brands such as Pretty Little Thing and Asos.

In February 2022, Lottie publicly shared the news of her first pregnancy on social media, identifying Lewis Burton as the father of her child. Their son, whom they named Lucky Burton, was born on 10 August 2022. In 2023, Lottie and Lewis became engaged. Subsequently, in July 2024, Lottie announced her second pregnancy through a post on social media. Their daughter, whom they named Flossie Burton, was born on 15 January 2025.
